Window Cleaning FAQs

  • I offer flexible schedules including monthly, bi-monthly, or one-off cleans. Pricing is tailored to the frequency you choose, and I’ll walk you through the best options for your property during the quote.

  • While my specific dates vary due to weather and scheduling, I guarantee your property will be cleaned within each calendar month with a consistent gap between visits.

  • Not at all. As long as I have access to the perimeter of your property, I can complete the work while you’re out. You’ll receive an automated email as soon as the job is finished.

  • A standard clean includes glass, frames, and sills. On my first visit, I use specialised cleaning agents to restore these to a high standard; subsequent visits focus on maintaining that "Andershine" sparkle using 100% purified water.

  • To keep things simple and automated, my preferred payment method is GoCardless. This allows for secure, hassle-free processing once your clean is completed.

For one-off services or added flexibility, I also accept:

    • Debit/Credit Card (via secure email invoice)

    • Apple Pay & Google Pay

    • BACS Transfer

    • Cash

I’ll always discuss the best payment option with you during your initial quote to ensure it’s as convenient as possible.

  • Absolutely! I’m a big fan of dogs (though they might distract me for 10 minutes!). As long as they are friendly, they are welcome to roam. I only ask that any pet mess is cleared beforehand to keep my equipment clean and avoid any missed sections.

Pressure Washing & Surface Restoration

  • Yes. All quotations are valid for 30 days. The price only changes if you request additional services outside the original scope, which we would discuss and agree upon beforehand.

  • Generally, no. For larger restoration projects requiring a significant investment in materials (such as premium sealants), I may request a deposit to cover material costs in advance.

  • Pressure washing is a messy job, but the cleanup is part of the service. I ensure all "splatter" is rinsed off walls and surfaces before I leave. I manage drainage to prevent blocks and discreetly move any extracted silt/sand to a garden border. If waste removal is required, I can arrange this for a small additional fee.

  • No. I quote for the job, not by the hour. My time estimates are just to give you an idea of the schedule—if a stubborn driveway takes me longer than planned, the price stays exactly what we agreed.

  • This depends on the environment, but I typically recommend a maintenance clean every two years. To get the most out of the service, I offer re-sanding and sealing options to help your stone or monoblock stay cleaner for longer.

  • I clear all visible weeds on the day, but as they are living plants, they will eventually try to return. The best way to manage regrowth is "little and often" maintenance, which I am happy to discuss with you.

  • If we are re-sanding your driveway or patio, the surface needs to be completely dry first. Please keep pots and furniture off the area until the sanding is finished. You can, however, walk and drive on it in the meantime.
